This is now my fourth photomanipulation (ever). I am teaching myself to use Photoshop CS3 and have a lot to learn, so I certainly appreciate any and all feedback, advice, tips, and suggestions, etc., from those of you who know more than I do (which may very well be every single person viewing this piece).

This scene is inspired by the fanfiction story I am working on that takes place during the events of Jim Henson's Return to Labyrinth. Moppet is an Ablation, a being created from Sarah's essence, by Queen Mizumi of Moraine at a heartbroken Jareth's request. She looks exactly like a sixteen-year-old Sarah with blond hair. If this does not sound familiar, you should read the aforereferenced Manga, because it's canonical ... and pretty freaking rad. Toby is king of the goblins!

Note: There aren't Inferi in the Manga (at least not yet; volume three of four is out next month) ... that is an idea I got from Roman mythology, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter, and I reference it in my fanfiction.

Wow, huge improvement there from your last manip!

All you need to work on is that Sarah's hair needs smudging. A few 1px strands pulled out going with the direction of her hair will finish off that 'look' you're going for.

Great work. I love the detail. Labyrinth is one of my most favorite movies (next to The Neverending Story, of course). I too am reading "Return to Labyrinth." It's a fun series, but I wish it was a little more in depth. I see it as kind of a parody of certain elements of the film, but I still like it.

The covers of the mangas are great!! :D
:iconsixtypixies:
The covers of the mangas are great; you are right about that. But I am wondering why Jareth looks like such an emo femmebot between the book's covers. And what is up with the long-ass fingernails they have given him? He looks like the "little China girl" from the David Bowie video (not that there's anything wrong with that, but her fingernails are way too long to be sanitary). The fanfic I have been working delves a bit deeper than the manga does, but I have been putting off posting it because there are later chapters that I have not finished and I don't want there to end up being holes in the plot because I posted it before I'd finished. And now vol. 3 comes out next month, so maybe I should just wait to read that before I continue ... Anyway, ramble, ramble, ramble.

Thanks for the kind words about the photomanip; I am still learning but really like working with PS.

G'night (I really should be getting to bed now)!
